Wine maker notes

Named after the proprietor of the 19th century mail coach service which once ran through their property, Henry's Drive Vignerons is the wine operation of the Longbottom family of Padthaway. Mark & Kim are forging a new family tradition of find winemaking with brands such as Henry's Drive, Parson's Flat, Dead Letter Office, Pillar Box and The Trial of John Montford. These wines are a testament to their dedication and the growing stature of Padthaway as one of the worlds great wine growing regions. Third generation pastoralist Mark Longbottom has a natural affinity with the land, and you could say his wife, Kim, hailing from New Zealand's famous wine growing region of Marlborough has winemaking in her blood. Together, they share a passion for viticulture and winemaking which translates into everything they do. Kim Jackson and Brad May make up the Henry's Drive Vignerond winemaking team, both share a passion for making wines that display a real sense of place, reflecting Padthaway and their individual vineyards. Chris Ringland is consulting winemaker for the Pillar Box range of wines. With twenty five years of experience in the wine industry, Chris brings a wealth of experience to Henry's Drive and the Pillar Box range.
