While the varieties used in Eclipse are the same varieties traditionally used in Bordeaux style blends, we feel our wine drinks more like a Loire Valley red or northern Italian red. The fruit is bright, the body is medium weight and the acidity is poised to really enhance great food instead of being too overpowering with excessive alcohol or new oak.

| Food pairing |
| This is a good everyday wine that works with a range of foods from pizza to herb encrusted lamb. This is a red that, although not a Pinot Noir, could pair well with salmon. Serve at 65° and let warm in glass to gently open the bouquet |
